Large Scale Model Warship Suppliers - people who make the hulls and parts for large scale radio control ship models

The world's premier supplier of fiberglass hulls and detail parts, you will be seeing a lot of this companies products displayed as this site develops.  Offers hulls ranging from small tugboats to giant Nimitz class carriers in 1/96 scale.  Their Iowa class hull and fittings kit is very popular, as are their Fletcher, Gearing, Baltimore, and Aegis cruisers and destroyer offerings.  Lots of Kriegsmarine units, and Yamato too. Check them out!

A new start up company - their first kit, the USS Blueback, is being very well received.  If you would like to get into r/c submarines with no experience, and are looking for a reasonably priced, highly engineered kit that requires only modest skill to complete, you would do well to check this company out.  Now offering a Kilo class Russian Submarine kit.

Loren Perry influenced many warship modelers in the early and mid 1980's both with his models and through his job as editor of Scale Ship Modeler.  Unfortunately he has dropped all his 1/96 scale products, but still is a great source for 1/200 and smaller details if you build those small critters <grin>

Mosquito Boat Hobbies - If you are looking to build the  1/20th scale Dumas PT-109 kit - STOP!!!  At least until you have visited Mosquito Boat Hobbies, who offer upgrade kits, building videos (including how to correct a glaring error in the Dumas hull) and complete kits for both Elco and Higgins PT Boats.  Vietnam era Swift and PCF boats as well - worth a look if you are into brown water navy.

West Coast Warships - a new company that specializes in 1/48 scale warship hulls.  Currently they have a Admirable Class Minesweeper, and a Sims class destroyer, and are working on several new projects as well.  Check thier page for the latest information.  The site is part of the larger 48th Fleet club site, a Los Angeles area club devoted to building large scale models.
