Paul has just started working on a Scale Shipyard USS Nimitz in 1/96 scale. This is a daunting project to the most ambitious modeler, but Paul has dived right in and is making rapid progress. We will follow along as he sends in pictures of the build....
September, 2005 - Framing, Hull Clean up, cutting of sponsons....
Running gear fitted and work started on the interior hanger deck frame. Removal of the excess filler has begun. Started marking the outside of the hull for the sponsons as well.
